Middlesex County Bar Assoc. Honors Judge Corodemus with Lifetime Achievement Award

Managing partner Judge Marina Corodemus (Ret.) received a 2014 Robert N. Wilentz Lifetime Achievement Award from the Middlesex County Bar Association at the Bar’s 100th Anniversary Gala Dinner on Friday, June 13, 2014 at The Heldrich in New Brunswick.

The award has very special significance to Judge Corodemus who practiced law and lived in Perth Amboy New Jersey as it honors Robert N. Wilentz, also of Perth Amboy and a man who launched his introduction to the practice of law and remained an inspiration for many years to follow. Judge Corodemus was the youngest person to go onto the Superior Court Bench, at age 36, and is now the youngest recipient of the Robert T. Wilentz Award to date.

Judge Corodemus was praised by Associate Justice Barry Albin as having set the standard for how the State conducts Mass Torts cases. a pioneer and in now Special Master in several Landmark Federal Cases throughout the nation. Judge Corodemus was the President Elect of the Middlesex County Bar association was elevated to the bench, chair of the county Ethics Committee, President and first woman President of the Association of Trial lawyers NJ.
